(Bill) Minton, AA5HI (1914-2012), wrote his name & all his call signs with license dates beginning in 1932 on the front loose end paper of book. Mr. Minton was a specialist in the field of Nondestructive Testing of Engineering Materials. His obituary appeared in QRZ, a copy is included with the book. This book describes the history of amateur radio, as experienced by Don Wallace. He was on the air in 1911, prior to the first radio regulations issued by the Dept of Commerce.
